Kenya Ballooning
Ballooning in the Masai Mara has been running for 25 years as a major visitor attraction. Trips star before dawn and normally finish with a champagne breakfast and normally excellent aerial views of the wildlife and scenery. Kenya Bungee Jumping

Bungee jumping is possible on the Tana River at Savage Wilderness Safari Camp located on the Nairobi to Nanyuki Road (020 7123094)

Kenya Camel Safaris
A number of companies organise camel safaris, Bobong & Ol Maisor Camels (062 32718); Nanyuki River Camel Camp (0722 328622); Sabuk Camel Hikes (0733 878528): Desert Rose (0722 638774); Yare Safaris (214099) and Bobong Camp (062 32718).

Kenya Cycling
Cycling is organised by Bike Treks (020 4446371).

Kenya Climbing
The Mountain Club has met for many years at Wilson airport at 7.30pm in their club house and good way to learn about and to join any expeditions and trips. (020 602330)

Kenya Diving
The Kenyan coastal waters are warm and clear and offer lots of diving opportunities. Diving is good all year with the lowest visibility in July and August. Live aboard diving boats are available.

Kenya Fishing
Fishing is organised on the Indian Ocean and good catches are to be had. Good for sailfish, marlin, tuna and sharks. The sailfish run from October to February; the tuna in September; the Black Marlin between July and September and the striped marlin from December to March. Inland the trout fishing is excellent and lake fishing is possible on the main lakes and boats can be hired. Fly fishing in the Kenya rivers is popular and Kenyan fly fish ties are sold all around the world. A fishing licence is required and available from the Fisheries Department located at the National Museum (020 3742320). Lake Turkana, Lake Victoria, and Lake Naivasha are them main fishing lakes. For trout Meru National Park, Mount Kenya, Aberdares and and Mount Elgon are the places. Organised trips are made by fly Fishing Kenya (020 226 360) and Origins Safaris (020 312137).

Kenya Golf
Golf courses are generally close to the main cities and along the coast. Kenya has 10 championship golf courses. Golfing tours can be arranged.

Kenya Rafting
Rafting is possible on the Tana and Athi rivers. Savage Wilderness Safaris organise rafting trips (020 712590)

Kenya Riding
Horse riding is possible in the Central Highlands and there are a number of horse riding safari tours.

Kenya Sailing
There are a number of sailing clubs. Kisumu Yacht Club (057 22050); Naivasha Yacht Club; Mombassa Yacht Club (041 223580); Nairobi Sailing Club (020 501250).

Kenya Skydiving
The Kenya Skydivers club meets each weekend at Wilson Airport and arrange jumps. (020 882292).

Kenya Walking
Kenya Mountains and hills and natural areas provide many waking opportunities.
