Lake Baringo is north of Lake Bogoria and home to hippos and crocodiles. Full of fish making it an ideal habitat for Pelicans and some 400 bird species. Lake Baringo is a possible stopover location if making a trip to the north of Kenya. It is possible to stay on the island of Ol Kokwe at Island Camp Baringo (020 4447151) and take boat trips on the lake.
